Hi,

Was wondering if there is anyone out there who is of a similar age to me and also pregnant? I'm almost 20 and found out I'm 9 weeks preggers!
Looking for a bit of support really for people of the same age going through the same things as me :)

Hi!
Im 18 and 17 weeks pregnant with a little boy!
Me and My partner bought a house so wasn't too bad telling parents in fact they are all super excited!
I am nervous about being a young mum and getting all the stigma etc. Cannot wait to hold little one!

Luna4689 · 15/03/2017 15:29

First where abouts do you live? Soooo difficult for me a partner to find somewhere around here so it's a killer honestly! Congratulations! X

Hi Luna,

We live in Swindon, how about you?

How is your pregnancy going?

Luna4689 · 15/03/2017 20:31

I'm in Chippenham!
It's going okay at the moment. Had some heartburn but other than that it's been fine! How's yours?

I'm 25 now. Was 18 having DD, 20 having DS and I'm 23 weeks pregnant with DD2. I love being a young mum. My kids are my best friends. The 3 of us have been through a tough time together and we're a proper little team.

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 15/03/2017 21:05

just had issues with telling parents & they're quite disappointed in me I think :/ It gets no better the older you get! I was 26 when I was pregnant with dc4 my mother's reaction when I told her? "Oh for gods sake not again" my Gran's reaction? "this is just getting ridiculous now". We didn't even tell dhs dad he just found out on the grapevine. My dad is always supportive though Smile although he did laugh at me & ask if I was joking when I told him about dc5 but said congratulations as soon as I proved it with a scan photo. As he said it's up to me & dh, we're the ones that have to support & care for our dc, no one else.

Firstbaby220817 · 15/03/2017 21:53

Hi Luna,

Gosh that's so close!
Do you have any friends that are also pregnant? I feel so alone here!

Yeah it's good, had cramps all day today, little one is not happy at all!

user1481490957 · 16/03/2017 00:14

Im 20 and 32 weeks pregnant, will be 21 11 days after dd due date. I'm lucky to have a supportive family who took my pregnancy really positivly. I really dont think age matters in 'how good a mum people will be' Smile

Luna4689 · 16/03/2017 10:55

First yeah I know that's crazy haha! Nope no friends that are pregnant but have friends who have had babies so they are quite supportive!

User I agree with you, I don't think age matters at all but my families issue was my partner. Let's say he's not built bridges with my family at all haha!
