Anyone used a Belly Bra?

I'm nearly 32 weeks preggas and just starting to really suffer from major back ache. My friend suggested a belly bra but before I go and invest I wondered if anyone could tell me if they're any good.

Also are there any exercises that I should be doing to strengthen my back?

Help would be really appreciated

I bought some suportive pants from Mothercare. They come very high up and have a wide, elasticated, strap round the back.
I was expecting twins, and stand alot at work, so started wearing them at about 5 months.
I found it really helpful, was able to walk to work every morning, and continued work until 33 weeks(I gave birth at 36weeks).
Not sure what a body bra is, but if it's the same kind of thing I'd recomend it.

i've got one (for additional support to help spd). fwiw, my physio likes the look of it - has great support around the upper back and under the bump. not very glamorous and totally nylon so rather icky on a day like today - but you're probably beyond caring about that now, i'm sure.

Hmm, being nylon has definitely put me off. I'm forever scratching my tum now which is a combination of belly growing by the hour (well that's what it feels like and being too hot from being covered up.

Last night I dug out my pregnancy books from the first time round and lo & behold there was a section on exercises for strengthening your back. I've done them twice today (even my 3 year old DD joined in!) and it's made a huge difference. I've also given up sitting on our squishy sofa and DH has brought me in a sun lounger!

I'll see how it goes without a BB for the time being....
