I'm 38 weeks pregnant and have had horrendous thrush! I've got a consultant appointment tomorrow to try and talk about getting induced; do you think they'll induce me for something like this? I've had 5 hospital trips for the thrush causing problems so I have been swabed and know that it definitely is thrush. I dont have sex with my other half so im not getting it that way. I've been given so much treatment and it doesnt work and they have finally given up giving me it. I've tried all the wives tales and they don't work either. Im really miserable I'm so sore from all the itching that I'm swollen. I struggle to sleep because it's a constant thing and I end up in tears most nights because of it. The fact that I potentially have another 3 and half weeks of this is so upsetting when there is nothing I can do about it. Also getting bleeds and the worst cramps are very scary after a miscarriage at 8 weeks so getting it from thrush is a nightmare.

Just don't know if they will do anything for me or whether I'm going to have to stressout and hate the last few weeks of my pregnancy

Poor you! It sounds horrendous. I've had thrush three times in pregnancy but not as bad as your situation. I really hope they listen to your concerns, you must feel so miserable.

Just tell them what you want and how it is effecting you physically and mentally. Talking it through may be enough and they may give you some short term help or they may agree to an induction (fingers crossed).
