Apply for a job?

So Im due in October and Im a teacher and my ideal job has just come out for a September start. When I was pregnant with first I didnt apply for a promotion which would have been mine so they appointed someone else, I only ended up being off 1 term and Ive regretted it ever since. What are peoples thoughts on applying?

Definetly apply. You dont need to notify them of your pregnancy until week 25 so June ish?

If they really want you then they can get a temp for the coming school year.

If you are moving from an academy or to an academy it classes as a different employer and you won't be entitled to enhanced maternity pay. The days of it classing as continual service for teachers who move schools has gone! That would be enough for me to not be able to apply.

Well they are both schools not academies and both within the same LEA and my reading on NUT suggests that as long as I dont have a break that moving from 1 school to the next is continual service?
