Maternity B1 form?

Hi all, just wondering if you were handed your mat b1 form.
My notes say during my 20ish week midwife appointment after the scan. I had that yesterday and didn't get one so just wondering if it was accidentally skipped or if it'll be in the post?
Cannot remember when I got mine with my first!

Not posted here. It should be 20 ish weeks as you're supposed to hand it to your employer by about 25 weeks but didn't get mine till 28w appt!

The midwife responsible for your care has to complete/sign it. You will need to ask for it at your next appointment with her now you are beyond 20 weeks. If you need it sooner, call her. She might be able to post it to you.

Literally on my way to pick mine up now! 20 week scan isnt until Thursday when I"m 21+1 and I have a meeting with HR anout my mat rights tomorrow. I just rang this morning and asked if I could come collect it and they said yes.

Got mine at my 25w appointment.

You can obtain it via GP too. I made an appointment and got it signed as I didnt have midwife appointment until 28 weeks and needed to hand it in to my employer by 25 weeks.

I got mine at 25 week appointment. You do not need to give it to your employer by 25 weeks despite what they might say. You need to tell your employer maternity leave start date by 25 weeks, you do not need to hand in your matb1 until 28 days before maternity pay start date, check the gov.uk website for confirmation. There is a lot of misinformation about this.

You need to ask for it - I think my midwife assumed I didn't work esp by baby number 4!!

Got it at 25 weeks.

I picked up mine from the GP at about 23 weeks. I called them up and they rung me back a few days later to collect it. Very easy!

Midwife will probably offer to write you one at 25 week appointment. If you want one earlier, you may have to chase it up yourself. I got mine at the maternity clinic just after 20 weeks

I had to phone up to get mine- wasnt mentioned at 20 week scan and my next mw appointment wasnt until after 25 weeks so would have been too late for dh's work (mine would have been more understanding and flexible). So rang up to chase and mw left it at reception for me to collect

I had to chase mine down, didn't even know what it was until I needed it for mat allowance, ring your midwife she should be able to sort it for you
