I'm wondering if anybody can help me, I had a blood test last Wednesday I would of been 6 weeks and 4 days ( going to ovulation etc ) and I had my results back today and my hcg level is 29,987. Does this sound normal to you? I am really scared I have a blighted ovum because I had a scan at 5 weeks 1 day and only a sac was seen. I am so worried it's no progressed and they won't scan me again unless I'm bleeding :-( .

Make a difference? it took me longer to get a positive test which I thought was because of late ovulation or is it common for it to take longer to get a positive with blighted ovum?
