Sorry, still under a name change, but I promise I will tell you all my real posting name soon.
I found out I am pregnant this week, but I am so tired, and feel so sicky all the time. Also have gone completely off tea, which is terrible as I love tea normally. I don't remember feeling this awful before. I can't say how many kids I have or how many times I have been pregnant atm as it will give the game again, but I have been pregnant a few times now and this is horrible.

Hi there mystery girl! This is my first and I must agree with you, early pregnancy sucks! I'm nauseous all the time, the most tired I have ever been and to top it all, quite spotty. Hmmm! Nice! I'm 11+1 though and praying that all that disappears in a couple of weeks! I've had the tea thing too, normally I cannot function in the mornings without tea, but now I'm just not interested in it. If I do make myself a cup later in the day, I invariably drink half and leave the rest, which is totally wierd as I used to down my tea to the last drop as soon as I'd made it, I'm such a tea addict!

Sorry you're feeling so bad, I'm sure things will improve soon.

Congratulations on being pregnant..

I think the symptoms do get worse with each pg... esp if you have a small age gap!!..

I am pg with number 3 and I am alot more tired than with the other two... but that could be because this is the first pg that I havent been able to nap when needed to with toddler running around as I have just under 8 years between DD and DS. I also have had more stretching growing pains than I did with the other two.. but I am guessing that you are on 3 plus....

amum1 · 03/03/2007 16:41

not a small gap, guess I must be getting too old for this.. Just tidied up upstairs and now I am knackered, even though I had a nap earlier.

Hiya secret lady!

Well this PG has definitely hit me for six! I had very little sickness or anything with DS or DD... but this time I am feeling pretty rubbish, nearly all the time.

Totally exhausted. Queasy. No power in my limbs!! Couldnt even slice open a pitta bread this morning for DD! My arms and hands werent working.

Hope it doesnt last for too long- mind you I'm only 6 wks at the moment.

joked with DP that it must be twins (please NO!) Is there any correlation to sickness and sex of baby??

trace2 · 03/03/2007 16:53

all pg are diffrent!

amum1 · 03/03/2007 16:54

I have both sexes and never had MS before.

Congratulations...
I felt dreadful from the moment I conceived! honest... so your not alone..

I went to the DRs when I was newly pregnant with DS.. I swear to god If he had said go to sleep when you wake up it will all be a dream I would have been on the couch with my eyes shut like a shot....I was feeling drained.. thinking how do women cope feeling like this.. I also had a year old toddler and was working. Anyway The doctor thought it could be twins and sent me for a early scan but I had a corpus luteum cyst the size of a orange giving me more hormones than I needed... I was also anaemic

Do mention it to the doctors... Do remember to eat regularly...and do update this thread when you come out... be kind to yourself

amum1 · 03/03/2007 16:58

I have a doctors appointment on the 12th. I am dreading it in case I have lost the baby again..

i have girl first 22years was ok boy 21 years was ok with him, then a big gap and an other boy 5 years sick as a dog wi him, now 22 weeks pg still very sick, weak, so tired

FunMumm · 03/03/2007 17:00

I think being sick is good then.. doesn't it mean that your hormone levels are high..

misdee · 03/03/2007 17:00

well, i have 3dd's and morning sickness was terrible throughout all of them. i was offered an extra scan at 16 weeks as iwas admitted to hospital with that severe morningsickness (HG?) and they suggested it may be a multiple pregnancy. i said no the scan as i had had one done the week before. and definatly only one in there.

amum1 · 03/03/2007 17:01

not been actually sick but feel sick all day.

OP posts:
honeyapple · 03/03/2007 17:14

I havent actually been sick either- just have this constant underlying sick feeling- like I am going to be sick.
Eating is helping. If I havent eaten for a bit it gets worse. I'm nibbling on bread sticks at the moment!

amum1 · 03/03/2007 17:16

Am waiting for my dinner to cook atm. Nearly ready. I did notice yesterday that I felt very sick when I was late having breakfast. Thing is I haven't even missed a period yet, not due on till monday, but had a postive result on tuesday.

would you like twins amum?

amum1 · 03/03/2007 17:23

You're not the first to say that my mum was pregnant with NI twins when she had my brother, but she lost one, so I know its a possibility.

OP posts:
Fresia · 03/03/2007 17:24

awww por her - how far gone wash she

amum1 · 03/03/2007 17:26

about 5 weeks. It was the before scans but she was 8 weeks pregnant with my brother before she found out she was pregnant, as she had what she thought was a period 4 weeks beforehand and the doctor said it was a twin lost.

FunMumm · 03/03/2007 17:30

fingers crossed the sickness continues

Snarf02 · 03/03/2007 19:53

This is my second pg and i have had much worse nausea and have been sick every am for nearly 4 wks. The last week i am ll wks tomorrow i have not been sick but still have the nausea but not as severe. I had the sickness from teh moment we conceived so was not suprised when got a postive pg test. I had nausea wiht my daughter but no way near as bad and not as early on and was never as sick. I am hoping that i am through the worst now. The tiredness is also really ahrd with a toddler and as i am bf twice a day not sure if that is taking more out of me and making me more tired. I always have a daytime nap if i can when she does which helps.

My saviour food was ready salted crisps not very healthy but they work!

good luck with the rest of your pg.

I have had the stretching pains too, they seem worse than when I was pregnant over 6 years ago. Just ate a chocolate bar and feel sick.
