If it's a good deal go for it! This is first baby and I'm getting my pram today at 32+4 but that's only because of my own anxieties!

mistermagpie · 04/03/2017 11:34

We got ours at about 35 weeks but as above, this was due to my own anxiety. Do whatever feels right to you.

mummyrich1988 · 04/03/2017 11:43

The pram is selling for £150 for everything and it's beautiful online there going for £600 just worry lol x

That's a real bargain. I would go for it! I know lots and lots of people who had everything by 18 weeks including the whole nursery set up!

kel1234 · 04/03/2017 11:46

Personally I'm superstitious and didn't get anything until the month before I was due. And I refused to have anything in the house until as late as possible, and even that was just the essentials- car seat, crib and bedding, and clothes for the hospital. The pram was delivered to my mums and brought over to us after the baby was born. And we didn't get anything else like bouncy chair, playmat, changing mat until I after the birth, as we didn't want to know the sex.
But if you like it and it's a good deal then go for it

TheTartOfAsgard · 04/03/2017 11:48

I'm 26+5 and bought my pram 2 weeks ago as it was on an offer.

DinosaurFanGirl · 04/03/2017 12:03

I'm 19 wks and we have the whole nursery done (bought it all in the xmas sales) and off buying the pram today as we've seen one we've liked. I think it's worth getting stuff when it's a bargain, especially as you never know when something is going to go wrong anyway x

RoseBud2016 · 04/03/2017 12:19

We ordered our pram at 15 weeks because it was half price in the January sales and it was too good an offer to resist.
So if it's a good deal, I'd go for it. Ultimately buying stuff isn't going to make any difference to the outcome of your pregnancy. X

MamaHanji · 04/03/2017 12:21

No disrespect to people's superstitions and beliefs, but if something (god forbid) was to happen, it wouldn't be because you bought a pram!

That's a bloody bargain so would be silly to miss out on it!

Mummyh2016 · 04/03/2017 12:39

I'd get it, we got ours at 22 weeks. Good job as even though ours came a week later there is now a 14 week wait so I would be stressing if I'd left it longer - especially as I have 15 weeks left! I have left it at my moms though rather than have it in our house. We ordered the furniture at 16 weeks though in the Boxing Day sales, we saved £400.

mistermagpie · 04/03/2017 12:44

Superstition is a strange thing, with DS I wouldn't have anything in the house, bought the pram at 35 weeks and never packed a hospital bag (yeah, that one was stupid!). This time though, my house is full of baby stuff anyway (DS is 19 months) so I don't see the point in worrying about it!

RaeSkywalker · 04/03/2017 12:49

We ordered ours when I was 16 weeks because it was on sale for a great price. Didn't collect until after DS was born though (the shop had agreed to store it, and he arrived a little early!)

I'd go for it if I were you.

RaeSkywalker · 04/03/2017 12:50

mister no hospital bag here either- we were massively caught off guard by our early arrival!

Snowflakes1122 · 04/03/2017 13:15

Sounds a real bargain op, get it!

I'm almost 25 weeks with number 4 and haven't got one yet. Partly because I'm waiting and partly because I can't decide.

TileTileTile · 04/03/2017 15:17

I spotted an eBay bargain the other day so went for it even tho only 13 weeks. It's the one I wanted and half price, think it was the last bit of stock from a closing down sale. So happy with it.

Gofor it OP

moobeana · 04/03/2017 19:31

Buy it!

I bought something when I was pregnant for the second time. Sadly I lost that baby, so I financed what I gave bought to woman's aid. I got pregnant again and still bought stuff early. Nothing is a jinx, and if the worst happens you can get rid of it. But it is really unlikely.

Congratulations and good luck.

mummyrich1988 · 05/03/2017 21:56
