What happens in your fist appointment with midwife ?
I didn't have one last time I had emergency scan then appointments with consultant

During booking in, expect to be there about an hour and go through questions on age, family history for various conditions, previous pregnancies, height/weight (for bmi to highlight gest. diabetes risk) and they will ask you about drink/smoking/drugs and also domestic violence.
