Hi, is anyone on their 2nd, 3rd etc pregnancy after a cesarean and suffering with a painful scar? Is it normal does anyone know? It's not enough to really scare me, just enough that I know it's there. I'm 10+5

Thanks

It's really, really common and thought to be due to scar adhesions from the operations being stretched as the uterus grows. I had them all the way through my last pregnancy but had a very straightforward vaginal birth. I still get them occasionally now almost 4 years after my last c-section and 17 months since my last vaginal delivery!

Thank you both, that's really comforting.

FioFio - I think we're both on the same ante-natal board (September Kidney Beans) as I'm sure I recognise your name and that's the one I'm frequenting most at the mo!
