Why am I getting all the worst symptoms :'(

I am 19 weeks and getting all the worst side effects :'(

I have had what seems like thrush for about 10 weeks. All swabs are negative and all creams / pressarys from the doctor are not working. I literally feel like I have glass in there.

Now the last couple of days I have had some pain which seems to have developed into hemorrhoids. They are like purple blood blisters.

How can I get rid of these? I am feeling so down and depressed :( Why are all of these things happening to me.

It's not just you. Many of us struggle in our own way. The nice thing about this board is that someone will be going through the same as you.
This is my first pregnancy, via ivf - so very much wanted child, but my goodness pregnancy has sucked!
In my first trimester I had several bleeds which meant several trips to epu, then developed hyperemesis which is still ongoing at 35 weeks. I've an anterior placenta so have had a couple of episodes of no movement - trips to mau, now have gestational diabetes - despite eating virtually nothing all pregnancy, and I'm having to inject insulin. Last week I developed an allergic reaction to the insulin, so my tummy is covered in massive red welts and blisters which itch like crazy.
Oh- and thanks to the hyperemesis medication I now poop only once a week- but can't take lactose due to gd.

It's a barrel of laughs isn't it? .
I am however ridiculously grateful to be pregnant in the first place, and so long as I have a baby at the end- bring it on!
I also try to remember that there are ladies that have to struggle with so much more, or who are unable to get pregnant /stay pregnant. Doesnt take away the validity of how I feel - but does put it in perspective for me.

Sorry to hear you have been going through a tough time too. I am also very happy to be pregnant again as I has a mmc in June.

I had no idea that all these things would happen during pregnancy. I guess I just kind of expected the sickness and growing pains and didn't think about about all these other horrible things.

I know it must be hard but please be thankful that you currently don't have something much worse. Yes these ailments are uncomfortable but at least they aren't posing a danger to your baby. Many women myself included have had pregnancies where they have problems that affect not only them but possibly the baby too.

I feel you. Obviously we aren't the only ones suffering but when you've been told that pregnancy is this beautiful and wonderful thing (coupled with the fact that so many people struggle to achieve it), you feel bad to say that actually you aren't enjoying it at all and that actually it's shit! It can feel quite isolating. I'm 8 weeks and just feel generally rough, and emotional. I didn't even know pregnancy thrush was a thing, I really feel for you. But I keep counting myself lucky because I know other women do have it worse and eventually it will all be worth it when I have my baby with me. Never again though!!

Have you tried garlic for the thrush? Shoved up your fanjo overnight that is? Works for me. Just peel a clove, sew some thread through it, shove it up there (thread on the outside obviously), cue much ridicule from you OH and take it out in the morning.

If not fully gone try again the other night or cut the clove in half to expose more of the garliciness.

Personally I think it's good that thrush can be treated with a natural remedy that's cheap too!
