Raspberry leaf capsules 750mg

Hi guys just wondering other mums experience im 37+3 and have just bought the capsules this is my second pregnancy didnt take them in my first. Do they work?

I swear by them and evening primrose oil, took them with my first 2 baby's both were slightly over due but short labours and only about 15 minutes pushing :)

If I remember rightly I gradually upped the dosage... starting at 35 weeks 1000mg epo and 750mg rlt then 37 weeks 1500mg epo orally and 1000mg vaginally and 2000mg rlt a day :)

I was thinking of doing this soon too.. What about raspberry leaf tea? Or are the capsules better?

Im not 100% sure but ive heard the capsules are stronger than the tea. How many weeks are you? User thank you im going to start taking them today and hope for the best had an awful first birth and want to try everything to avoid this time x

Oh right! My hypnobirthing teacher recommended we give it a go so i've got some tea to try. I am 34+1 now, i've read that you can start from 32 weeks. Hope the capsules work out for you to have a good birth! x

I had the tea with dd2 was having maybe 1 or 2 a day but It tastes hurrendous... pretty sure I still have them in my kitchen cupboard from 2 years ago capsules are much nicer! Haha

I took these for the last month of my pregnancy (first baby). I was a few days overdue but once things got going, it didn't take long. My midwife explained that they don't impact on when your labour starts, but they strengthen your uterus so when it starts, your contractions are strong and this equates to a faster labour. Capsules are easier than the amount of tea you would need to make any kind of impact! Anything that potentially shortens labour has got to be worth a shot!?

May add 1st labour was 11 hours 2nd was 5 hours :)with dd2 by the time I got to the hospital I was already 9-10cm haha
