Is it normal to feel like heart is racing? currently my heart rate is sitting at 92 bpm (as I sit watching hawaii five o and reading mumsnet) I'm about 5 or so weeks pregnant. It's not all the time but it's happened once or twice over the past couple of days. Feel pretty OK apart from that.. A bit nauseous, sore or heavy books and tired but not sleeping great..

Yes I think it is.
I had it in my last pregnancy- later on though. Midwife said it was fine.
This pregnancy also had a few episodes from 3 weeks. Dr tested for aneamia and overactive thyroid, but came back normal.
Dr google suggests it's quite common. It's uncomfortable though isn't it?!
Worth mentioning to midwife though

Thanks Sophie! Its good to hear it's not just me as I was started to panic slightly which only makes it worse of course! I have another appointment with EPU in two weeks I can mention it there I just wasn't sure whether I should be trying to get a docs appointment to mention it before that.
It is definitely uncomfortable that's for sure. It just feels really strange

Do mention it to the mw/GP. I'm 17w and my pulse is now 110bpm and I'm being checked for a few unrelated pregnancy conditions. Could just be pregnancy but better safe than sorry.

*Unrelated to pregnancy conditions
