Hi, I am a soon to be mommy of 2 I am currently 31+4 and having lots of braxton hicks and low down pressure felt like something was bulging and going to burst when I was in bed the other night feels like baby is really pushing down. This pregnancy is so different to when I was pregnant with my son I am so worried baby will come too early. Feeling so uncomfortable belly really hurts at times. Confused

I'm sure someone will be along to reassure you soon but I would also be talking to your midwife and if possible getting monitored to check that the Braxton Hicks are just that and possibly a scan to check your cervix length. (I had DS at 30 weeks and kick myself for not having gone in sooner when I felt that something was happening).

They probably won't do a cervix length scan at 31 weeks. I was having them every 2 weeks until 24 weeks and then as soon as the pregnancy is viable they stop them.

I would call your midwife as she could get you in for monitoring though.

I definitely got more pressure pains and braxton hicks with each baby. Hopefully it's just the same for you.

If I were you, I'd speak to the midwife over my concerns. I'd also probably book a private scan to see how things are looking.

I have ante Natal checkup on Wednesday so will mention it to her, also have a scan next Thursday week as my last scan at 20 weeks showed low lying placenta so have 2 more scans to make sure it has moved up. Thank you ladiesBiscuit
