I'm New here so excuse me!!
I'm 37 and had the implant in since having my lil boy who's 4 well anyway I came off it in November had a small bleed 2 days later then had a period 35 days later .....
Anyway I came on my period on the 17th Jan for 4 days but wasn't normal did a few pregnancy tests and came back negative well anyway I brought some pregnancy test off line kept coming up grey but with a tint of pink was like it a few days well anyway I ended up doing a clear blue and came up 1-2 weeks and a slight + on other one x

Well let me explain over the last week I've still been doing them and there getting darker was due on 16th Feb but nothing it's nearly as dark as control line but I still can't believe I may be pregnant

The only reason been Is I've had a lot of aches n pains in my tummy n lower back n my friend said if I had a urine infection the test would show positive or if blood was in my wee it would show up:"( I'm so confused sorry if this does make sense
Watson the chance of having loads of tests saying yes if it was an infection I'm sobbing writing this as I really want a baby xxc

The only thing I have is pissed period
Alot of acid
Bad wind
Tired quite a lot weeing Alot and waking up in the night

Urine infections dont give false positives afaik!
If you're getting multiple + tests then the most likely explanation is you're pregnant. Smile

What are you confused about? If you have a positive pregnancy test you are pregnant. There is nothing confusing about it.

tinaxxgary · 17/02/2017 17:07

Sorry I'm only confused because a friend said cause I have hardly any signs it's least like I'm pregnant Confused

Pregnancy tests test your level of pregnancy hormone hCG (which impedes your next ovulation). Urine infections don't produce that.

I always heard that if a pregnancy test says positive, even very faintly, it's usually indeed positive, as you can have false negatives (when the hCG level is too low for the test to detect), but not false positives, because hCG is not produced if yo are not pregnant.

If it's as dark as the control line, it's a positive IMO. Though if you want to be really 100% sure, you can go to the GP for bloods or something.

Most pregnancy symptoms don't start until at least 6 weeks pregnant. Your friend is chatting shit. The only thing that gives a false positive is certain fertility drugs.

That definitely looks positive to me, you're pregnant - my first and only pregnancy test looked very similar in terms of darkness, and it pretty much turned to 2 lines instantly so the whole 5 minutes they tell you to wait was just watching the line get darker. If you want confirmation you're definitely pregnant your GP can also test.

tinaxxgary · 17/02/2017 18:28

Awwww thank you :) I thought so as well maybe I'm doubting myself cause I'm scared maybe not my friend just made me think twice xx I have 4 already so this would be my last one xx

That's positive / your friend is being ridiculous - urine infection cannot give you a positive pregnancy test!

Period pain like cramps and backpain are very common in early pregnancy

Congratulations Flowers

Awww thank you so much that's put my mind at rest now I'm at doctors Monday to see a doctor and for him to give me a former for a hormone level then midwife on the 3rd then to wait for a scan xxx

She's now asking me for advice now as she thinks she pregnant hers isn't showing like mine hers is nearly grey lol and we had periods the same time within 2 days xxx
