Hi.
Is morning sickness mainly associated with having girls ?
Or is it just dependant on the person and how they react to pregnancy ?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

It's dependant on the person and how they react to the pregnancy. It's not to do with the sex of your baby.

There's some evidence that severe hyperemesis is associated with a slightly increased likelihood of having a girl.

I didn't get any morning sickness at all with DD1

Not sure it means anything but I had severe hyperemesis and I had a girl

I had hyperemis in both pg. I have a boy and a girl.

I had absolutely no sickness whatsoever with DD1, however... I'm 23 weeks pregnant with DD2 and my sickness has been absolutely horrendous. I had it severely till 17 weeks then had a wonderful few weeks of no sickness but I think it's rearing it's ugly head again!

I had horrendous sickness with my ds from 3 days before period due until I gave birth. My mum was the same with both me and my brother. Apparently there's some evidence that it can be hereditary but I don't believe it's anything to do with the sex of the baby.
