Stomach bug/diarrhea in early preg - do you stay home?

Hi. Last 24hours been feeling bit rough. This morn i have diarrhea although i know thats not overly unusual (i know its common in preg) but i feel pretty rough (bit sweaty and stomach crampy). I am working at home today so i can breathe abit but i wondered what people usually do? My employer does not yet know about pregnancy (7+3) but i will tell them soon. Does it reflect badly eg will they look back on sick leave negatively?? I haven't been off sick for 18mths+.

No sounds like you need to stay at home. Keep hydrated and rest. Pregnant or not, stomach bugs are infectious and you should stay off work.

I thought the nhs guidance was to stay at home for 48 hours after last episode of d or v to avoid spreading it regardless if your pregnant or not.
