So I have a history in my previous pregnancy of pre eclampsia and found out 2 weeks ago I am diabetic, my daughter is now weighing 4pounds 6Oz, from two days ago I have been taking more frequent Braxton hicks lasting around 2 mins, but last night I took tightening pains at the top of my tummy coming from my back they lasted a min each and this was going on for twenty mins. Around 5am I.woke up in pain with.a bad tightening pain in the middle of my tummy which didn't leave for two mins after I woke, yesterday I was also had nausea, I have had loose stools once or twice a day and increased vaginal discharge along with swelling down below and itchiness and I also feel tons of pressure. Has anyone else experienced this before going into early labour, I was at my midwifes yesterday and I had 1+ protein and 3+glucose In my urine and blood pressure a bit high, anyone any advice just to put my mind at ease as I'm due to see MW again tomorrow

I think it would be best if you called the maternity helpline number on your notes. They may wish to see you earlier given your history.

I think you should get yourself checked over asap. Contact your midwife or nearest labour unit. It's better to be save than sorry. Good Luck

It's impossible to say, this type of stuff can happen for weeks or can progress to labour quicker. But you are preterm so need to be checked for changes they can also do a swab to test if there's a high chance of imminent delivery.

Latent labour for me has always gone on for weeks (aside from my induced first baby) the following four I had 2 at term (40 and 38 weeks) and 2 preterm (34 and 31 weeks) so please get checked out, you may need steriods to mature baby's lungs just incase.
