I'm 20 week and am really struggling to sleep I feel anxious and agitated from 10 pm until 2_4am. Is there anything suitable to help for a a few days to help with establishing a better sleep routine? TIA

This is a list from the booklet my obstetrician gave me. It's American and those are brand names so you will have to google the equivalents for the uk. However it's probably best to check in with your doc/midwife as well. And dont forget non-pharmacological options, meditation, massage, music, exercise, etc!

Fab thank you! I'm seeing my GP this morning so I'll discuss the drowsy antihistamines

Have you tried any relaxation or Hypnobirthing recordings? They knock d me out every night during pregnancy, still do if I'm feeling anxious but can't sleep. Can post some that I have used if you're interested, good luck x

I had good outcomes with drowsy anti sickness meds proscribed by gp. One at night and it helped me get back to sleep on waking.

Do you have Apple Music? If so there are three Katherine Graves colour & calm recordings, 2 of which to use in pregnancy & one for breastfeeding.
If you wanted to buy some I would highly recommend Maggie Howell &Natal hypnotherapy, again you can purchase through itunes.

I listened every night & would be asleep within 15 mins...good luck! X

Ambien in the US is Zolpidem - a prescription sleeping drug (Stilnoct is a brand of Ambien in the UK). My GP is perfectly happy for me to take 5mg Zolpidem OCCASIONALLY while I am pregnant.
