Hey, so I am newly pregnant & I jus wanted to know something...
If I had eeclampsia with my boy, will I get it with this pregnancy???

Although there is a risk, the chances are actually surprisingly low that it would repeat itself. Chances are higher if it's a different father, though. You'll be consultant led, so I'm sure you'll be in good hands for when those relevant weeks start coming round.

The reality is that none of us can tell you. Not even your doctors with access to your records and tests can tell you. There is a risk, but I think it can be less severe second time around. Certainly not worth getting wound up about yet.

Start taking low dose aspirin as soon as possible - today - to significantly lower your risk. Take it in the evenings as it is slightly more effective then. Ask your doctor about it.
