Harmony Test - how long till results

Hi there,

I had the blood test and scan for the Harmony test last night - has anyone had one and if so, how long was it until you received the results?

We were told 7 working days, but it would be amazing to know by the weekend as it coincides with a family event which would be perfect to announce the pregnancy.

Would love to hear if you have experiences - sometimes these companies under promise so they can over deliver.

I sent mine to the lab (UK based) via special delivery on a Thursday afternoon, they arrived Friday morning and the doctors PA called Wednesday morning at 8am with the results. I was told 7 days.

Big factor is if the blood went to a UK or USA lab as the latter takes longer. Unfortunately I don't think you'll get them before the weekend but you never know!

Ah - I don't know how my bloods got to the lab as the sonographer at the babybond took them and presumably sent them off. You would think they would use a courier or something wouldn't you? Doesn't blood go off?

I went to a manchester clinic, (BabyBond) told 7 working days, went on a Saturday and was rang the following Wednesday with the results and emails exactly after the phone call.

Forgot to add, the woman told me they get sent to London Lab, used to be somewhere in USA, a courier service took them that day.

If you call and ask babybond they'll tell you. Mine went royal mail special delivery which is fine for blood transport. It's frustrating isn't it? I was so desperate for the results too, although I got them at 11 weeks so still wanted the 12 week scan before we told people but I loved knowing the risk was low and we found out the gender

I had the test done on a Tuesday night and we got a phone call the following Monday with the results. We also got the results in writing a few days after that.

Mine will take 2 weeks but I am in Asia and they sent it to the US I guess.

Mine were sent to the USA and I received my results in 7 days...

I had my blood taken at about 6pm on a Monday evening, the clinic sent the samples to the London lab so that they received it Tuesday lunchtime. I got my results on the Friday afternoon just as we were packing to go away for the weekend. Such a relief, the wait was horrible and we were expecting the results to take until the middle of the following week so it was a great surprise.

Mine were sent to a London lab and I got my results in 7 days rather than 7 working days from recollection.

7 days as opposed to working days here, I guess theybsay 7 working days in case they are very busy or need to retest

I had mine on a Monday, they were sent to the US, and got the results the following Monday.

I did test in London on Friday and received a call from doc assistant following wednesday night!

I had my test on Saturday (babybond). Not heard yet. Hope we both get positive news before the weekend!

Mine took about 5/6 days.

Aaargh still waiting! It's worse than exam results!

Have you had yours Sunshinesue? I am checking my email every ten mins just in case they can't reach my phone.

I had my scan and test with babybond on Sunday, they told me that I will just get an email with results (in 7-10 days) unless there's something on the results they would need to discuss with me first. I'm now going to panic if they call me! 🙈

My friend had the harmony test and it got the gender wrong! She was all prepared for another daughter and when they passed her newborn DC all she could see was a huge pair of nads!

Has it done on the 23/9 (Saturday), got emailed the results on the 2/10, that was via babybond, so was nearly 7 working days

My results came through yesterday (6 working days) and all good! Hooray!
