I'm 11 weeks pregnant and been prescribed Metronidazole for an infection which also left untreated can cause risks but there's a lot of things saying not supposed to be taken pregnant etc even the pharmacist was unsure but the doctor said fine I'm so worried what do I do??

Did the Dr check in BFP book? Did the pharmacist actually look it up or just say oh I don't know?

Erm the NHS website says it can be taken while pregnant....

Sorry meant the BNF (British national formulary)

Which says: avoid high dosage
