Can anyone reassure me that my baby will be ok? I'm due Jan 31st with my 3rd baby. I've had a really traumatic day. I can't sleep and my baby is wriggling about. I've tried laying down and doing breathing exercises. I don't know what to doSad

The m not an expert but I think I remember that any studies that looked at links with stress in the mother focus on prolonged stress and would think that a single day out of a full term pregnancy won't make any negative impact on your baby.

It probably has increased your adrenaline / heart rate which could make the baby more active but I'm sure there can't be any long term effects.

It all sounds normal to me. I've got three babies.

Sorry you had a crap day! Nearly there now. Try not to fret about it, just breathe deep and sleep when you can.
