where's good for them and not too expensive? ive managed to go 36 weeks without one but planning on bf so want some that unclip on the sides

Asos have a good selection of different ones.

If you want decent hold and have big boobs, bravissimo are the best.

If you're near Glasgow there's an amazing woman called the bra lady- bussom buddies who will come to your house and size you perfectly.

M&S, new look, H&M, Asos have reasonable priced maternity bras. I'm only 7+1 but actually had a look yesterday as I was curious of prices. New look have them for £20 for a 2 pack. H&M a little cheaper for a 2 pack, asos vary and m&s are around £30 for a 2 pack.

I see that the bra lady still uses the old measuring techniques. Anyone know if that is because of the brand she supplies???

I booked an appointment to be measured at Mothercare last Sunday (free) and with that if you spent £30 on maternity bras you got £5 off. I got 2 Blooming Marvellous feeding bras for £25 and they are super comfy x

Hotmilk- really good. Follow sizing on website to get perfect fit. They have a good sale and always have offers.

I bought a couple of cheaper ones from Amazon at the end of my pregnancy that came in S/M/L which have the nursing clips and removable pads. (I wanted light padding at end of pregnancy but don't want it when breastfeeding as it gets in the way!).

After feeding was established and my size settled, I got measured and bought some nicer ones.

I never bothered with them - crap support really. Got nursing bras afterwards though. Hotmilk are good, also liked the Panache Sophie. The Debenhams ones are awful unflattering crap.

Nearer the beginning of my pregnancy I went to M&S to get measured and bought a really comfy bra from there but it was nearly £30 for just one.
I went to Mothercare to get measured for nursing bras just yesterday and yes, you get £5 off if you book to be measured. It's £30 for a pack of 2 nursing bras. I was also recommended to get sleeping bras for extra comfort and support in the night. That was £22 for a pack of 2. They look more like sports bras/crop tops. Yet to try them out!

I found debenhams really good and give a nice shape. I went straight to nursing bras at about 30w, if my boobs grow I'll get new ones, and won't have lost anything as if I'd bought maternity I'd need new ones for feeding anyway.

Sleeping bras?! I think you may have just made my week NewMum17! My boobs are so sore at the moment and worse at night. I was going to look at buying some supportive vests or something, but sleeping bras... thank you!! This is why I love MN.

Don't worry deepestblue. It's nothing embarrassing getting measured. I am 37w tomorrow so was 36w when getting measured too. It's a good time to do it! I was always an A cup and moved up to C. Like FlipperSkipper I also bought nursing bras earlier as I wasn't sure if I would grow again. It's my bust that's grown more now😳

Just remembered a Mothercare video that might help you deepestblue. It tells you how to work out your bra size but I clearly did something wrong when working out my chest as it told me I was an E or something which I knew I wasn't!!😂 you could use it as a guide but get measured to double check. xX

M&S do a two pack and they are sooooo comfortable! Live in mine!
