Something for baby to sit/sleep in?

Ive seen friends with babies chilling on a Donught type thing or a bean bag does anyone know if there is something for baby to snooze in during the day? X

A sleepy head or cocoonababy? Only if you want one, not a necessity? Alot of people use moses baskets. Ours will just be in his carrycot that came with the pram (it's one approved for overnight sleeping, a lot of them aren't)

Mine usually just sleep either on me, in the sling, in their pram or their bouncer chair in the day.

Mine slept mainly on me, and mainly on this big pillow from mother care. It's a teddy bear that you blow up and stick a pillow inside, from the loved so much range. She slept better on that than the bouncer.

Mine has a poddlepod and loves napping in it, was definitely money well spent!

Best thing I ever bought was a baby bean bag. My DS loves it, he even uses it to night sleep in. They are incredibly comfy and mould to baby's body shape. We do have a moses basket but he hates going in it, from other mums I've spoken to the whole baby hates moses basket thing seems to be more common than I thought. So no more moses baskets for me I'm sticking to bean bags

Is it safe for him to sleep on though? surely if it moulds to him, if he moves it could cover him.

Another vote for the poddlepod, they're brilliant.

Whatever you get, please please just check the safety aspect. As far as I'm aware doughnuts etc are not considered safe places for baby to sleep (especially overnight when you will also be asleep) due to risk of SIDS

During the day DS either snoozed in his Sleepyhead, in his bouncer chair (the Babybjorn one) or in his buggy when we were out and about. He didn't sleep much on me - I always tried to put him down somewhere and thankfully he was quite happy with that!

Agree wholeheartedly with curls babies shouldn't be left unattended to nap in any kind of sleeping aid for any length of time. (Poddlepod advises supervision and no over night sleeping.)

Our DD was a preemie so at first she slept in her Next to Me in the day (she was so small she got lost in it a bit so I was more comfortable using while we were awake). Now she's bigger we've swapped the Moses basket with the NTM so she naps in her Moses basket downstairs. She's still little though so I realise most full term babies grow out of them fairly quickly. Our pram is also approved for sleeping in, some are so worth checking when you choose yours. My friend swears by her Cocoonababy but I wasn't convinced.

Ds (first baby)slept on me or in the pram for the majority of the time, with occasional naps in the sling or bouncy chair. Dd napped mainly in the sling, pram of bouncy chair.
