Maternity swimwear + big boobs

I'm normally a H cup and pregnancy has made my ladies even bigger! I really want to go swimming so need a maternity swimming costume/tankini for big boobs too. Google search isn't going well so any advice greatly appreciated!

Following with interest ... otherwise might need to be bikini separates from bravissimo and an exposed bump

MrsB110616 · 10/01/2017 09:52

Try a bravissimo bikini top under a regular maternity swimming costume/tanning top?

MrsB110616 · 10/01/2017 09:58

That should say tankini, not tanning!

ems137 · 10/01/2017 10:10

I just wear a normal bikini but in the bigger size.

ConvincingLiar · 10/01/2017 11:25

I bought a slightly bigger in the back tankini top than I needed in so eg instead of a 36H I bought a 40GG. This allowed a roomier tummy. Then I reduced the size of the back. Last time I checked, there was no big bra sized maternity swimwear.

Brastop is a good site for cheapish swimwear to try on and return.

Thank everyone! I'm not a bare my tummy lady but thank you for your suggestions. My sister did suggest a bikini top under a maternity tankini so I may try that too.

Will try Brastop! Annoyingly I was right by Bravissimo Covent Garden this moment and forgot to go visit doh!

Bravissimo annoy me in that once you get pregnant, they don't really want to know. Their selection of nursing/maternity clothes/bras is rubbish. It's the time when boobs can be most tricky. I know they're not the sole manufacturer, but they do make their own stuff. I don't think it'd kill them to do one bra sized maternity tankini.

I found the perfect swimsuit after trying so many that did not accommodate my big boobs. I got this one from Amazon, you can pick the dress size and bust size so it should fit perfectly. I'm so happy I found it www.anita.com/shop/en_global/maternity-swimsuit-rongui-f3103c.html

ConvincingLiar · 21/01/2017 07:28

That looks good, it's a shame it's only up to a G cup.

SarahOoo · 21/01/2017 10:21

That's both! I actually found one by Fantasie that isn't a maternity one but had so much room on the tummy it fits my boobs (with naughty underwire!) and my 6 month pregnant tummy!

I usually wear a H cup by the GG and FF both fitted fine and Brastop have the green version on sale in FF so I got that one and will be taking the black one back as it was £26 more

I don't think underwire is naughty as long as it fits. Unless it's for all day sunbathing, presumably you only wear it for an hour max anyway?

NameChange30 · 21/01/2017 21:38

I had the same problem and searched high and low for a swimsuit to fit my boobs and bump. There's a massive gap in the market IMO!

In the end I found Anita Maternity swimwear, which is the only option I found that you can order by cup size:
www.anita.com/shop/en_global/products/swimwear.html?collection_group=115

I ordered an Anita maternity tankini from Zalando, in cup size F which was the biggest available, still not my size but certainly more roomy than all the other maternity swimsuits I tried!

I got one from Zoggs. I'm a 34H and a size 10/12 so it's been a struggle!! The zoggs one fits boobs perfectly, I got a size14 to fit the massive boobs in! It's still a big around the belly but that will get bigger! It was in the sale too!

moonoverthewater · 22/01/2017 07:30

I got one from zoggs too and it's perfect for larger boobs , plenty of room for more growth too

KSAH · 02/07/2018 15:50

Am 27 weeks preggers and now a 34GG. Delighted with my new swimming outfit - black maternity pants and black & white polka dot tankini top in 34GG both by Figleaves. Tankini isn't maternity but is long and fits nicely over bump, stays snugly on as I swim and will def stretch as I do!

Havetothink · 02/07/2018 17:00

I've got a zoggs swimsuit size 12, I'm a 34g currently and it fits well. I had so much trouble getting a decent swimsuit with my first pregnancy that when I saw this one (before I got pregnant the second time) I just had to buy it. It also has a little padding in the bust (not much) but enough to hide the details.
