Maternity leggings

I'm sure it's been done to death but I'm looking for the holy grail of maternity leggings. Criteria are:

Over the bump (as in come up to near your bra line please Grin)
Thick enough for your pants not to show through

DOES SUCH A PAIR EXIST?

Got some topshop ones and thickness was amazing but they sat right in the middle of my bump which was fine at the start but uncomfortable now.

Jojo Maman Bebe leggings all the way. I can't remember which type I had but the reviews on the site are brilliant in helping pub down the right ones for you.

George at Asda, not too expensive and still had a little growth room when I was 37 weeks!

riddles26 · 05/01/2017 08:31

They were also my favourite thing for 2 weeks after I had my baby

H&M maternity leggings are the best they go all the way up and are reasonably thick for the price! Think they were £7.99 but defo recommend x

GTS · 05/01/2017 08:32

H&M x

May I add they literally sit under your bra line they will go as high as you want them
Too I lived in them Blush

SuperManStoleMyPants · 05/01/2017 08:34

I have some of amazon which are awesome. They are thin but I have thermal tights underneath to keep warm/not show off pants. I'll see if I can find the link.

NannyOggsKnickers · 05/01/2017 08:34

ASOS! I still wear mine. Really comfortable.

lilydaisyrose · 05/01/2017 08:34

Next maternity (& non maternity as it happens) leggings are awful - so baggy!

jesterkat · 05/01/2017 08:35

Mother are fab but expensive, Matalan good

doghairinmytea · 05/01/2017 08:37

New look and Dorothy Perkins. I still wear mine on a slobby day. Blush

Snowflakes1122 · 05/01/2017 09:33

Lilydaisyrose-glad it's not just me! My Next maternity leggings are so baggy! We don't carry babies in our legs, Next! Confused

So avoid the Next ones!

SnugglySnerd · 05/01/2017 09:35

New Look 2 pack. Inexpensive, come up high, don't show pants, wash well and dry quickly.

CatsCantFlyFast · 05/01/2017 09:42

If your over the bump criteria is because under the bump falls down then consider the Isabella Oliver treggings. I can not tell you how good these are. The only under the bump trousers I found that weren't uncomfortable and didn't fall down - they're thick, stretchy, wash well and worth every penny. I had a pair in my first pregnancy and bought a second pair when they got paint on them. I wore them post birth and over a c section scar and they're simply ace

UnicornPee · 05/01/2017 10:01

I am currently wearing new look maternity leggings. They come in a 2 pack. I liked them so much I now have 6. They meet your criteria

nicholar · 05/01/2017 13:03

ASOS!

AreWeThereYet000 · 05/01/2017 13:07

New look! Nice and thick and sooo comfy xx

Barefootcontessa84 · 05/01/2017 13:08

Seraphine bamboo ones!

Parney · 05/01/2017 13:11

New look! Baby is almost four weeks and they are still my go to.. 2 pack, thick, over the bump and so comfortable. They're also available online and aren't expensive.

clarabellski · 05/01/2017 13:37

New look. I still wear mine and my DS is nearly 11 months old Blush

BreatheDeep · 05/01/2017 13:40

Asos leggings and Seraphine bamboo leggings. The bamboo ones are amazing and so comfortable. I want some that aren't maternity and can't find any Sad

Brodicea · 05/01/2017 20:33

Mothercare: bought them three years ago when PG with DD and I am now back in them at 10 weeks pg. They have hardly aged, still look good and have held their texture, colour and shape. My ASOS ones on the other hand look awful!

poghogger · 05/01/2017 20:41

Thanks everyone! Have ordered some jojomaman ones so will see what they are like. I've got some ASOS ones and they're fine but still a bit see through!

My sister in law bought me a pair of Seraphine over the bump leggings. As soon I put them on, I felt like I was on a cloud. So soft, so comfy! I'll be buying more soon.

SussexTeacher · 06/01/2017 11:02

Another vote for new look. So comfy and above the bump.... I reckon I'll wear these after baby as well.... Like a few years after they are that comfy!
