Hi ladies..
Anyone else at the end of this loooong pregnancy journey and getting fed up..39+1 and desperately needing this baby out now ..comfort is non existent an don't get me started on the heartburn :/
Be good to share with other frustrated mummies to be :)

Haha yeah mine is staying at the top end too. He actually you tubed videos himself and asked 'what are they doing to her!' Hes freaked out by sex too incase he hurts the baby so i wont bother bringing that one up! I'll defo have a bounce on the ball instead. Not quite so impatient today now that I know things are at least moving in the right direction.x

Had my sweep this morning an midwife was able to do it ok but jeeez it really hurts :/ hoping something starts soon...has anyone had a sweep that's resulted in labour starting within 24 hours?
How is everyone today any signs?xx

Morning, I thought it was all starring for me last night. Woke up at 1am by contractions, period style pain and lower back pain. Kept me awake most of the night but managed to fall asleep about 5am and now it's all stopped. Hope I don't have lots of nights like that as I've read others have!
Jules, good that they were able to do your sweep. Has it managed to do anything for you?

I'm 36 weeks and had enough. Last night was spent tossing and turning, my back hurts, my legs hurt, heartburn, restless legs. I found this picture that made me giggle though...

Really fed up now, in tears a lot hardly sleeping, 38+2

Currently in the delivery suite at 4cm an just had pethadine an my waters have gone ...SHIIIIIIIITTTTTTT forgot how much this hurts
Hopefully it won't be all night an my baby girl will be here soon :)
How is everyone anything happening yet?xxx

Good luck!!! No signs here 3rd sweep today showed no progress still so looks like he's gonna be dragged out!! Consultant appt on Tuesday to book induction if nothing happens over the weekend!!

its happy due date day to me today! had uncomfortable sensations since yesterday lunchtime that have gradually become more uncomfortable but i dont think its contractions and if it is theyre clearly not doing anything!

Iv managed 2 hours sleep tonight for various reasons!!! tired does not even come close!!!

I had a great nights sleep, hoping it's my body's way of gaining energy for the arrival but I doubt it!

How are you doing today tinyhuman? And everyone else still waiting?
I had another night full of braxtons that stop after a few hours. Not painful but uncomfortable enough to wake me up and stop me from sleeping. Getting annoying now cos it gets you all excited that things might finally be happening, then nothing!

been to labour ward today as been having contractions since yesterday afternoon... theyre every 5-6 minutes but my cervix is still shut! she triewd another sweep whilst there though and iv had very consistent very painful period pains since that so im hoping thats a good sign!
