maternity bra, help!

My boobs are so sore, when I take my bra off at the end of the day I could cry. I can't go bra-less my nipples will poke someone's eye out! I need a maternity bra but it's hard enough getting a bra in my size anyway! Does anyone know of anywhere online that stocks 30e maternity bra?
Much appreciated!

Get a soft, stretchy one you can sleep in! Mine were agony until about 16w. Figleaves have a good range of brands, I got a couple from M&S as well but you might need to persevere a bit until you find a comfy one as they all fit differently. Also get measured if you have a bravissimo near you

mamarach26 · 01/01/2017 21:08

I'll have a look, I've tried m&s but no joy! I'm off shopping tomorrow so i will get measured again. I was gonna get a sports bra but they don't fit right

The M&S one I got isn't sized I don't think, I wear a 36E and it's just the biggest they do but it is very comfy. I got a cheap one from figleaves that I loved, I'll try and find a link

Emma Jane! There's different ones but the sleep bra was great although not supportive enough to wear in the day

cauliflowercheese14 · 01/01/2017 21:13

Bodysilk are brilliant.

mamarach26 · 01/01/2017 21:13

Really? I didn't think they did them but I had filtered the search results so maybe they didn't show up! Thank you, you might have just saved my boobs!

Bravissimo - do a great range of maternity and nursing bras - I'm a 38J so they will absolutely have your size - have basically lived in my since about 20weeks! (DD is now 7mnths) found the Royce Charlotte the most comfortable

mamarach26 · 01/01/2017 21:14

I'm looking at all your suggestions!

This one is nice, and it doesn't look too "mummy" does it? I still wanna look reasonably nice..

Following with interest. I need 34ff/g's depending on style and am struggling to find anything that doesn't make my boobs look awful shaped! Also alot of them seem to not come up high enough so my nipples are coming out the top even if it fits! I think the bottom bit of boob must be very full or something :/. I havnt found any ones suitable for sleeping as there just isn't enough fabric to cover them unless I go to a bigger size 16/18 or large and then it's not actually tight enough to be providing any support at all.

I'm running of of places to try!

IrnBrufan · 01/01/2017 21:21

These are super comfy! They are s/m/l/xl rather than cup sizes - very roomy and good support too

Mama & Moonlight If you are near a bravissimo store I'd go try some on. Thaye are really designed for bigger bras sizes without being frumpy at all

This one is a semi or flexi underwired one so you still get a really nice shape which I have recently started to wear if I'm going out anywhere. But sleeping and in the really early days after DD arrived (where if you are anything like me will only care how comfortantly it is! - it was all about the Royce)

Pixieperson · 01/01/2017 21:37

Bravissimo is great. I have the one you posted the picture of (think it is called the Sophie soft cup?) in a 34 GG and it is so comfy. Also has 7 hooks good for getting the fit right. I would definitely say try to get to a shop if you can - I was in a 30G pre-pregnancy but the lady in the shop was so helpful about getting the fit right and kept bringing different styles and sizes.

mamarach26 · 01/01/2017 21:42

I find that with maternity bras too, I know I definitely need to be measured again as I'm spilling out! There won't be a store near me tomorrow! I'll have to get into Manchester this week though. Thank you all so much!

There's not a store near me unfortunately, I'm near Bristol and the nearest one is Cardiff which is really too far to go. I'll definately order a load though I think in the hope 1 or 2 fit!

Mouse510 · 02/01/2017 09:25

I went to Jojo and have help from a lovely shop assistant. Got two Emma Jane bras that are so comfortable. I was a 34FF and now wearing a 36D in them.

mamarach26 · 02/01/2017 09:43

None of these shops are near me Sad

There's a lingerie shop opened in Nailsea that do maternity bras. They might be able to help

adlertippa · 09/05/2017 21:46

How far along are you mama? My boobs would wake me up in the night in 1st trimester they were so painful but they did get better. Still massive mind Wink hope you're more comfortable soon x
