NYE fail

Have been wondering how I'd spend NYE this year, being 37+4. Now I know. Hooked up to a foetal heart monitor for the last 4 days of an already crappy year!!!

Anyone got any good horror stories/predictions of NYE with their MIL to cheer me up?

A nice story to start you off!! This time right now I was in labour having my dd!! She is 10 today. The bloody midwives woke me up at midnight to say happy new year!! Then the woman opposites whole family (10 relatives!!) turned up with a bloody pull along food hamper and started tucking in!! I discharged myself and went home!! Hope your day is stress free and baby has a smooth arrival!!

I spent nye 2007 strapped to monitors and New Year's Day being rushed to A different hospital with a nicu. View across the town of fireworks was amazing though as I was on the top floor. NYE since have been much less stressful Grin

This time last year I was in labour and 2 hours away from having DD :)

All is good - hubby just dropped by with some friends and a picnic! This could prove to be one of my better NYEs!!
