9 weeks, worried, being silly?

I am about 9 weeks pregnant, have had about 3 weeks of constant sickness and nausea.

Today I suddenly feel full of energy, and no sickness, just slight nausea that isn't really bothering me.

I am torn between worrying symptoms are dying off for some reason, hormones decreasing? And being happy I can actually eat and do a few chores instead of sitting around looking and feeling like shit!
Does this happen to anyone else?

This is really really common, happened to me, I would say it happens to most people. Relax and enjoy it!

I panicked when this happened to me but it was only a temporary reprieve.. it came back with a vengeance! Even at 15 weeks it tails off then comes back again.

My MS started at 4w but since 9w I've been feeling better and I was worried. I had a midwife appointment yesterday and mentioned it to her and she said that it was relatively common, but that it might come back! I still have some nausea and sore boobs but the vomiting and feeling hungover has stopped.

I think at 9 weeks the placenta starts to function and will increase how much it works until it takes over fully around 12 weeks. That's why a lot of people see symptoms starting to subside around 9 weeks. Happened to me in both my successful pregnancies.

Thanks for the reassurance guys... Smile

I needn't have worried. Found myself projectile vomiting in a sainsburies carpark this afternoon Blush

Ahhhh glad you are feeling more reassured!
I was feeling a bit better (15.4) but was sick (luckily had sick bags ready!) while my husband was driving us home then couldn't make it into house before being sick all over front garden today Blush the neighbours probably thought I was hungover.. quite the opposite!
