What amazing pregancy hacks have you discovered to make this whole body-going-crazy thing a bit easier? Mine are:

Saline nasal spray + nasal strips = the abillity to sleep and breathe at the same time.
Lactulose at night + decaffeinated coffee in the morning = a poo! Finally!

That reminds me, magnesium spray for leg cramps and ranitidine for heartburn.

Also, if you can afford it, reflexology sessions did wonders for my symptoms

Stick some duct tape over the overflow in the bath and you can fill it a few inches higher to cover your bump! Took me four pregnancies to figure that one out.

Not really a hack but...I've finally learned I'm not superwoman and it's ok to ask for help. Like the previous poster it only took me 4 pregnancies to work it out.

Long bbq tongs to pick stuff up off the floor with.
Put stuff at waist height to save bending I. E. Bathroom bin.
Don't bother with maternity clothes, just buy black leggings in big sizes.
Get wrist splints if you have Carpal tunnel.
Drinking milk works for heartburn.
Become good at grunting.
Lean forward when peeing, get it all out.
Regular Pedicures, you can't reach your feet.

ranitidine for heartburn

This for me too. No messing about with Rennies or Gaviscon when there is actual medicine!

Ispymincepie top tip about covering the overflow!

oldlaund - yes to pedicures! Had one recently and my poor swollen feet look (almost!) pretty.

Antsinpants · 31/12/2016 07:13

Silky jammies from Primark to help you turn more easily in bed. Godsend.

raviolidreaming · 31/12/2016 16:12

Thank you, annlee - I bought some orange Rennies today and they are indeed like sweets!

BunloafAndCrumpets · 31/12/2016 16:41

Corsodyl toothpaste!! Normal mint toothpaste made my morning sickness worse- tastes vile but got rid of the urge to vomit

anon1457 · 07/01/2017 10:57

I had horrific all day sickness until 16 weeks with DD couldn't get out of bed some days but my saviour was anything carbonated (felt easier on the stomach) and anything salt and vinegar flavour like McCoys.

I was shocked when my baby didn't come out looking like a salt and vinegar McCoy 😂
