Like many of you I'm starting to browse all the sales for baby bargains! Maybe we could share our finds here?

First up, John Lewis have got a whopping £200 off the 2015 Uppababy Vista! www.johnlewis.com/uppababy-vista-2015-pushchair-and-carrycot-denny-red/p1789270

I've also found some good deals on the Babies R Us and Kiddicare sites.

There is an extra 10% off the Isabella Oliver sale too.

I'm on the lookout for:
Babyzen Yoyo
Bed nest
Medela Freestyle
Tripp Trapp newborn set

Please post your sale bargains below!

feesh we had a few years overseas where we could get John Lewis minus VAT. It's great!

Just been out looking at prams - Becca you're right absolutely lovely the uppababy vista, that basket is huge! Had been totally sold on the icandy peach in previous shop but once we saw the vista it's hard to beat, especially with the current deal! Just having a coffee break to mull it over, the only drawback of the vista over the peach I'm slightly concerned about is the extra width - does anyone have experience with it, is it a pain going past parked cars on pavements etc??

Mothercare had lots of half price things in sale. Got a couple of grobags, some babygros, changing mat and towel. They had deals on nursery furniture too which I didn't look at

BeccaSays · 29/12/2016 15:59

Hey marmite, i agree it's a bit of a wide boy but we found it folded up smaller to go in the car and was easier to pop off the wheels and carrycot etc. I loved that you don't need to buy separate carrycot etc and if doubling up for a second you can just buy the adaptors...not the case for iCandy. Thought the sun visor/shield thingies were handy too! We wheeled it all round JL and thought handling was good...but so is iCandy! Both lovely really. Oh another point they made is that Uppababy will fit your child for longer...decisions decisions!!

lucieloos · 29/12/2016 16:04

Ohh that's interesting about pushchairs. I'm another that has my heart set on icandy peach. We are going to test them in JL a week Saturday.

marmitecheesetoast · 29/12/2016 17:19

It is decisions decisions indeed! Icandy peach handles like a dream but uppababy vista only marginally less so - still lovely to push and steer! Really loved how easy it was to get carrycot/seat on and off and to fold away. I found the folded chassis slightly lighter than the peach for lifting in and out of boot. Other plus points that have convinced me, just, over the Peach is that the vista carrycot can be used for sleeping every day ie instead of Moses basket (can even buy a stand for it) and that you can fold it with the seat attached which I think will be great for storage in the house.
Have just gone ahead and ordered it in the red from John Lewis with the £200 discount, exciting!!

For those that are interested in the icandy peach mothercare have a deal on at the moment where they are selling it for £755 including a maxicosi car seat - but you have to buy carrycot (£185 I think?) seperately

lucieloos · 29/12/2016 17:41

I think you can also use the iCandy carrycot for everyday sleeping too although probably not with a stand. I'm still firmly in the icandy camp at the moment although that could change when we test them.

marmitecheesetoast · 29/12/2016 17:58

Shop assistant told us lucie that peach carrycot could be used for occasional overnight sleeping e.g. when staying over somewhere, but wasn't officially recommended for everyday like the vista. It is a gorgeous pram though, was very torn between the two!

lucieloos · 29/12/2016 18:10

It says on icandy website that it's suitable for permanent overnight sleeping. We have ordered the snuzpod for that anyway and will just use the bassinet for during the day.

Yeah exactly it's probably not something worth buying a pram on the basis of, was just an added bonus I thought! Xmas Smile

MrsGsnow18 · 29/12/2016 18:31

I love this thread! I saw some amazing bargains in mamas and papas and online. 70% off some of their bedding sets. Baby sleeping bags etc all reduced.
Some of their own prams were half price too, I'm still choosing a pram, but would def love one in a sale!

twinmamma2b · 29/12/2016 19:37

Millionmiles and Becca - We've just tested our new perfect prep and the Mam bottles fit with it. You just have to ensure that they are placed exactly.

user1468957349 · 29/12/2016 20:25

Not big purchases but 5 Mamas and Papas sleep suits for £8 - and they are lovely soft cotton, packs of Mamas & Papas socks half price and picked up a snow suit today from Boots reduced down to £12 - lovely and thick too x

Is anyone buying an electric breast pump?? Or has anyone managed to get one in the sale?
I've looked at reviews and the Medela one looks good, but I guess you don't know until you've used it if it will work for you?

lucieloos · 30/12/2016 15:46

Jpeg, I want to get the medela breast pump too but I haven't seen any reductions for it.

jpeg28 · 30/12/2016 15:47

lucie this is the only one I've seen...
www.mothercare.com/feeding/medela-swing-essentials-pack-exclusive-to-mothercare/396446.html?cgid=cat_feeding#q=medela'&prefn1=brand&prefv1=Medela&start=1

But I'm wondering whether to just wait until after the baby is born, is it worth buying it in advance,?

lucieloos · 30/12/2016 15:51

Oh yes that looks a pretty good deal. I will probably buy in advance as like you say you are going to have to use it to know if it's any good for you and I've read about that one in quite a few places so seems as good as any.

MrsGsnow18 · 30/12/2016 20:12

That does seem a good deal on the breast pump. I will have to read up about them, I had thought of just getting a manual one but maybe electrical would be easier to use.

BeccaSays · 30/12/2016 20:20

Someone in my Facebook group said they're on offer cheaper than this on Amazon today...

lucieloos · 30/12/2016 20:39

Ohh thanks becca off to have a look! I think electric is definitely easier from what I've read.

twinmamma2b · 30/12/2016 20:59

I have the Medela swing and am finding it good so far. I only started using it when DS was about 10 days old but I wish I had started earlier to help establish supply. I've also got a manual harmony that I use to pump when he's sleeping. It gets out almost as much as the electric pump but is quite hard work on the hands.

lucieloos · 30/12/2016 21:33

I couldn't find the medela any cheaper on Amazon. They did have the pump on its own for £80 but I think you would need to buy the accessories to go with it then and would end up being more expensive.

iCoCo · 31/12/2016 12:08

Not sure if this has been posted, I looked but couldn't find, the H&M maternity Parker had been reduced to £12.50 (25% off that also if you sign up to the newsletter). I was going to not bother buying a proper maternity coat but for that price, I've spent more on one cocktail pre pregnancy.

lucieloos · 31/12/2016 12:38

Wow icoco that's amazing! I've just ordered one for £9.37 with free delivery Grin

EggInABap · 31/12/2016 12:58

Thanks Icoco I bought that jacket too! Only 6 weeks to go but struggling now with my regular jackets and it's really turning cold here now, for a tenner can't go wrong!
