Wish I could sleep through Christmas

I'll be 11 weeks on Christmas Day and the exhaustion is really beginning to wipe me out now. Still have presents to buy, a jam packed Christmas of meals out and family and then to top it off we're off to France skiing (well I won't be now!) for NY, with DP's 3 kids.

I just want to stay in bed and watch Christmas films! Oh and crack open the port and cheese board (but that won't be happening either!!)

Does anyone have any ideas on how to beat the fatigue? Please say it will magically disappear at 12 weeks Xmas Confused

I feel the same although that doesn't really help!

We have evening stuff planned but I've been asleep by 8pm every night so I'm dreading it.

We haven't reached a point of telling people yet (6+2) so I have to find a collection of excuses!

I'm a week ahead of you and seems no sign of it being any easier to stay awake.

I've still got presents to finish making and all the wrapping to do then the travelling round. And no wine/ fizz to be able to drown people out

I was feeling better by 13 weeks if that's any comfort, might not be long until you're feeling a bit more back to normal.

I'm now 29 weeks and feel like I have been booted up the bum by the third trimester already, I sympathise and am grabbing every single bit of duvet time I can get in amongst the crazy Christmas organising!

Oh God, just sleep as much as possible and eat whatever you want.

You can chill in the hotel while DH takes the kids skiing. Or relax and gaze at the mountains 🎄

I'm 17 weeks on xmas day and all I've done for the last 11 weeks is work and sleep. I am an 'older' mum though, previous pregnancies were 12 and 14 years ago so maybe that's a factor.

Thanks ladies... A new relationship with the duvet it is then! If only there was time!!

If only a sparkling water and elderflower gave the same buzz as a large Rioja! Happy snoozing ladies Xmas Smile

I'm the same except I'll be 38 weeks on Christmas day Xmas Grin try not to overdo it & put your feet up whilst everyone else is skiing Chocolate
