As title says, I've managed to completely confuse myself!
So I have long cycles of around 40 days and my last period was on the 5th November.
I then ovulated around the 3-4 December. I got a very faint bfp on Thursday and it's got stronger since and now it's a very strong line (yes I've tested about 6 times, I'm a nightmare lol)
So normally you'd count you date from the date of your last period, but I'm guessing I won't as I have such a long cycle? So I've added two weeks to my ovulation date and I've put myself at approx 4 weeks, would that be the right way to do it?
I'm so confused lol!

I'm rubbish at this too but the nhs due date calculator allows you to put in cycle length and adjusts accordingly. Hope this helps

From ovulation you are 4+1. Count two weeks back from your ovulation date and give that as your lmp. If you don't, they will date you ahead of where you are which could lead to you having your scan too early. Congratulations!

I'm exactly the same, ovulated 3rd/4th Dec which was CD16/17 for me. So I'm classing myself as 4 weeks pregnant today (based on the Sunday ovulation). That puts me due on 27th August.

Congratulations! I also got my BFP on Thursday Smile

Thanks everyone! Congratulations Malbec, how are you feeling? I'm so exhausted!

Yeah I'm a bit tired and very bloated but symptoms didn't start really intensely until 5 weeks with DS so I'm hoping to have an ok week this week!

Is it your first?

Stormcloud10 · 18/12/2016 18:25

No my third, but it's my first with my husband. I have two sons 11 and 7 from a previous relationship, I suffered really badly with morning all day sickness with they boys so I'm dreading it kicking in! I'm hoping I get xmas out of the way lol!

Oh no sounds grim. I was nauseous as hell but never actually sick! I've just sat down and man I'm tired. I can't believe how tired I am so early on!

Have you been trying for long? How does it feel to be starting all over again?!

Dont worry too much about it, you will get an accurate date at your scan
