to discover that I am pregnant! Completely in shock and out of the blue. Is 24 too young for a baby? I am in a stable happy loving relationship and we both have well paid jobs-my mind is just full of questions! I've been drinking (Christmas party season!) so will it be ok? I can only be a few weeks but this is all new to me.

Of course 24 isn't too young for a baby! If you're in a stage of life where you're able to prioritise and support a child then it's great news! Congratulations.

It's very unlikely that drinking at this stage will have harmed baby, so don't worry but of course don't drink any more. I also drank unwittingly in the first few weeks of pregnancy (over Christmas, but I'm a light drinker) with no adverse effects that I'm aware of.

Thank you so much. I hoped it would be ok this early on, starting to feel really quite excited though of course it is early days.

Congratulations!!

I am also 24 & recently found out I'm pregnant too! So definitely not too young Xmas Smile

Was you trying or totally unexpected? How far along do you think you are?

Unlikely that drink in early stages have harmed baby but like above person said - just don't drink anymore Smile xxx

Congratulations to you too Xmas Smile Totally unexpected, I cannot use the pill due to medical reasons but have been using condoms-I guess one wasn't up to the job! I think I can only be about 3-4 weeks, I am going to get another test today that indicates how many weeks you might be. How far along are you? No champagne at Christmas for me :(

I'm 23 and am having ELCS for baby number 2 on Wednesday!

Congratulations, give yourself time to take it all in Flowers

If you know the date of your LMP, there is calculators online which works out how far gone you are and when your roughly due. By my LMP I'm 6 weeks. We were trying so I kind of know when I ovulated & conceived. With the ClearBlue Digital Test, add 1-2 weeks onto what it says because it goes from ovulation rather than LMP. Have you told your partner?
