OMG, I feel so rough!

I'm 26+3 amd been waking up with sore throat/general unwell feeling since Monday. Was feeling rather smug it hadn't developed further until yesterday afternoon when my eyes and nose starting streaming, headache, achey muscles and exhaustion. Went to bed at 8 last night and woke up with terrible sore throat and dry mouth from darth vader breathing, still feeling awful!

I know I can't really take anything so this is just a moan more than anything else. But if anyone has any tips that'd be great.

Ginger and honey in hot water worked a treat when I had a cold. Just infuse some raw ginger in boiling water, pour into a cup and add a spoonful of honey. I also took paracetamol but found that made me worse.

I only tried it because I was going to have honey and lemon and couldn't find the lemon juice lol it didn't taste strongly of ginger, just a hint if that helps Smile it's miserable feeling rough when you can't take much for it.

Lemon and honey if you don't like ginger (though not good if you have reflux!) My doctor sister says yellow Strepsils are fine. But if you don't want to risk them, any sweets you suck will help your throat a bit. Bowl of hot water and inhale steam (though not super helpful if you're at work!!)
