How long until MC?

I had an early scan today because I was so anxious and my boobs weren't as sore.... Mother's instincts suck sometimes 😢 baby is measuring ,6w with a slow heartbeat but I should be almost 9 weeks.... I can only think the inevitable 😥 so very sad but trying to keep a brave faced before picking my kids up from school. How long until I may MC naturally? 😟

This happened to a close friend of mine, I'm afraid it's just the waiting game, she started to misscarry after 3 days. So sorry you are going through this op

Im so sorry this is happening to you. I had a miscarriage myself so have an idea of what you're going through. What have the nurses or doctors said about it when you went for your scan?

I went for a private scan and the pornographer said if I hadn't been 9 weeks it would be a normal 6 week pregnancy but she said to go back on a week and see... She couldn't say for certain either way if the baby would miscarry or not'm. Limbo.

Maybe clutching at straws, but could you possibly have got your dates wrong?
My second pregnancy was 11 days less than expected.

I may be out a few days but not that long... We dtd only 26th and 27th October....😐

My dates were off two weeks in the begniing and I knew they were correct because it was my second early scan and the baby had only grew a couple of days!! I freaked out and said I'm now 5wks I'm 7!!! So went back in 3 wks later and should have been 8wks and he was measuring just over 9wks. I'm 37 and a half wks now. I don't know what was going on back then but it really freaked me out

That's reassuring Nikki, hoping for a miracle but 3 weeks seems a big stretch 😟 will call dr on Monday and see what they can suggest😑

I had this, measured 6 weeks when should have been 8 and I had lots of red spotting.
DD is now 14 months and a little hurricane.

Don't panic yet. It's a good sign that there's a heartbeat. Would they rescan you again in a week's time?

I called epu, I'm booked in for a scan on Monday. In my head it's over 🙁 as 3 weeks out just seems too much but we'll see. Thank you all xx

Hi dontpoke , well I had an internal scan expecting an external so my bladder was full and couldn't see the heartbeat properly so a further scan next week but baby only measured 5 weeks, so I'm booked in for an erpc under general next week after another scan 😟 symptoms still here, boobs sore, nauseous etc, my body hasn't caught up yet but definitely not right as I'm supposed to be 9 weeks... End of the road for me this time... Feeling down but I sort of had a feeling something wasn't right, I was constantly anxious and always thinking about mmc even though I've had 2 good pregnancies... Now it's a wait until surgery after Christmas.. But not in the mood to do anything...☹️ thank you for your thoughts, I hope you're well xxx

Hullaballoo, so sorry to hear your situation :( I'm in a similar one to you too. I had my 12 week scan today, my first scan and also my first pregnancy. There was no heartbeat and the fetus had stopped growing at 9.5 weeks :( I had been feeling anxious too about mmc but thought the 2% of pregnancies not reaching 12 weeks just seemed so slim. In hindsight I didn't feel right a few weeks ago.. I had an inkling something was up.. I had an awful cold at 9 weeks and up till then had really strong symptoms. There after around 10 weeks my symptoms started to fade and every now and then I would feel a little nauseas but not like before. I put it down to just coming towards the end of the first trimester where things ease off. I had no bleeding whatsoever so thought I was ok.

We were planning to tell our family on Christmas Day.. This whole thing has happened at a really awkward time of year. I'm planning to go for the medical (pill) management procedure in the new year as I don't think I can handle going through the pain and bleeding and trying to act happy and festive this week.

I'm trying to stay positive and remind myself that we were lucky to be pregnant and on our first month of TTC even if it unfortunately ended in a MMC, we know that we can be pregnant again. I also think the fetus just wasn't a healthy one to begin with and nature took it's course which if it was the case I'm greatful for.

2016 has honestly been an awful year. I'm glad to see the back of it but moving onwards and forwards a new year and a new start. Fingers crossed for us both for happy healthy pregnancies. Look after yourself and stay positive Xxx
