Spotting and cramping 5 weeks

Got a positive last week. Not over the moon due to the bad timing but was getting my head around it. Haven't even been to the doctors yet.
Yesterday after sex I had some light pink spotting and some mild cramps. I've woken up this morning to slightly heavier cramps and a slight bleed - red blood.

I bled with my DD once or twice but not like this so I am slightly worried. I'm unsure about going to the hospital as I worry they won't take me seriously due to it being so early. I have had one miscarriage in the past, and in my previous pregnancy with DD I had a cervical erosion (?) So i'm unsure whether this could make a difference.

I just don't know what to do.

My first pregnancy and I've been super worried. Been on Google more than ever before. I've had both cramping and spotting. From what I've read there's absolutely nothing to worry about. And the spotting after sex is more normal than abnormal, essentially it's just your uterus wall being irritated by the activity as it's already swollen from the blood going to it to help the baby. And normal spotting happens for the same reason because of the placenta attaching and growing.
I felt the same, just moved from a 3 bedroom house to a one bedroom flat because we was running up debt because we couldn't afford the house. 2 weeks after we'd moved I found out I was pregnant. I spent most the first week worrying and freaking out. Deep breaths and try not to stress, easier said than done but stress isn't good for the baby.

Oh, and the cramping is your uterus growing and the wall detaching from your other organs to side making room for the baby and all its needs. I already had a rough idea how much the body changed, but when you get into the nitty gritty it's even more than I thought.

I've had both good and bad experiences from this... I'm 22 weeks now and in this pregnancy I bled, cramped and was convinced it was over. I bled on an off from 5-8 weeks and then again at 13 weeks. I went to the EPU and GP etc every time!

I've also had a bad experience. I started bleeding at 7 weeks and miscarried shortly after. However it was very very different to the bleeding this time around.

I'm sure yours is completely normal uterus stretching and implantation bleeding or bleeding because of sex but if you're worried I would get to the EPU just to put your mind at ease.
