Troubles with stress at work

Hi I'm 16 weeks pregnant and I work in 2 different jobs both as a children's physiotherapist, but different NHS trusts and slightly different workload. The teams are like chalk and cheese and so are the employers.

employer 1 causes me high levels of stress due to workload, backwards approach and lack of people skills by the team lead. Seriously a bad supervision that makes you feel like a Lilliputian would be bad without being pregnant, add the hormones and it was tears for 24 hours (and still when I think of it)! The team lead was being awkward about 'yet another midwife appointment' on top of all my sickness leave which has now triggered an occu health referral.

The day after that supervision, my other team of employer 2 listened in and helped me so well, making me clear that they are just a dream team. They would understand if the midwife or GP would advise me to be off sick until start of mat leave. How can 2 teams be so Different ?!?!?

Fact is, I can't afford financially to just go on and hand in my notice and of course employer 2 couldn't fill in the gap whilst I'm pregnant and unsure how I am going to cope staying with them until I can go on mat leave.

I'm seriously considering having myself written off sick with stress, which is absolutely genuine! I'm 42 and this is most likely my only pregnancy after finally having found my best soulmate ever to have this baby with. I don't want the pregnancy to be overshadowed by a load of stress. Ideally I'd love to be able to just work for employer 2 but I'm sure that would be hard to do.

I'm now off on sick leave due to my asthma not getting under control and was prescribed antibiotics after struggling on and off work for several weeks. The thought of going back to work seriously scares me!

Has any of you had such a rough time at work?
