Natural delivery after c section ?

With my first I ended up having to have an emergency c section due to infection and distress, has anybody gone through anything similar and been able to have a natural delivery ?

First baby delivered by c section (after 42hr labour) due poor positioning. Second baby popped out naturally at home after an hour. Didn't intend a home birth, but would not have made it to the hospital in time and I was able to have a midwife at home.

I had a crash section for foetal distress with DD1 and went on to have two straightforward vaginal deliveries at home - one of them just this morning! Smile I was told that foetal distress is a 'baby-related' issue that is unlikely to be repeated in future births so I had as good a chance of a vaginal birth in subsequent pregnancies as a first-time birther.

Not quite the same as I had an elective caesarean with my first son as he was breech but 6 months ago I had a vbac with my second son! It's a cliche to say but it was amazing and so healing mentally for me! Having said that I was terrified of being induced and if I went more than 10 days over I had another caesarean booked, thankfully I didn't need it but I would have done whatever needed to be done. I've had a few people before he was born saying I was selfish to try as my reason were all for me!

Aww that makes me feel so much better, it would be lovely to have a natural birth and experience it, took me a while to recover from my c section and I couldn't enjoy my little girl as much as I wanted to Sad obviously if a c section is the safest way to deliver him I will do it without a thought
