Unless you've been told to only put on a certain amount (which they do for higher BMIs) that doesn't seem bad.
Are you concerned?

FatOldBag · 11/12/2016 10:15

I think if you're healthy BMI to start with then 'normal' is 1-5lbs in the first trimester and I think 1lb a week after that totalling somewhere in the region of 2-2.5 stone. That makes you approximately perfect so far!

TopKittyKat · 11/12/2016 10:28

I've put on 1st and I'm 23weeks. I feel comfortable with that though.

I think your weight gain sounds normal.

buckyou · 11/12/2016 11:26

I've put on 1 1/2 stone so far at 32 weeks. I hate it but just one of those things I think.

IJustWantABrew · 11/12/2016 11:49

I put on about 3st whilst pregnant. Lost about 2st as soon as I had him. The rest is just keeping me warm Wink

MoonlightMojitos · 11/12/2016 12:14

I put on 1 stone in the first 10 weeks....! Eating constantly was the only thing that helped the nausea. Now 15 weeks and put on another 2 lbs since so I'm hoping I level out now and don't put on too much in this 2nd trimester :(.

UnoriginalNN · 11/12/2016 12:16

I've gained 6lbs I think. The joys of hyperemesis and GD Hmm Grin my bmi was 27 anyway before I was pregnant so I was hoping not to gain too much

UnoriginalNN · 11/12/2016 12:16

(Oops I'm 29 weeks!)

unicornsfartrainbows · 11/12/2016 12:17

I put on 3 stone all in, lost 1.5 of it really quickly.

Whatsername17 · 11/12/2016 12:21

I was the same. I'm 34+2 now and I've gained 1.5st. I did the same with my dd and gain the 2st by the end. I was back in my jeans and lighter than before at 6 weeks post partum. Hoping for the same!

Naschkatze · 11/12/2016 12:24

29 weeks and I've put on 1st 3lb.. I'm not liking it as I've never weighed this much but I'm trying not to worry and just eat healthily ish. I think it's within normal range? DH says I don't look any different (apart from the bump) but I think I've put on weight on my thighs. I think your weight gain is fine OP.

hopsalong · 11/12/2016 16:21

I've put on 1st and I'm only 19 weeks! That's definitely a bit more than recommended, but exactly the same as last pregnancy, where weight gain really eased off by the end. I put on 2st total, most by 30 weeks, and was back to my original weight a week after giving birth. So I'd say you have nothing to worry about.

MrsKBill · 11/12/2016 18:09

I have an higher BMI and off for my diabetes test tomorrow morning. I didn't think it was that bad and I haven't put weight on all over...I am carrying all front xx
