Bleed

I'm 8 weeks pregnant and this evening I've had some brown blood in my underwear... I'm really panicked. I called my early pregnancy unit and they said as I haven't had my booking appointment (it's next weds) I can't self refer and a doctor has to do that for me?

Well my doctors is closed all weekend, which I explained. I asked what happens if the bleeding gets worse or I have pain? She said not to go to A&E until I can't bear the pain anymore. And that was basically it, she said there's nothing they can do for me and just take paracetamol if I have pain... I'm petrified the bleeding is going to get worse and there's nothing I can do but stay at home !?

Try not to panic. Brown blood is old blood, so not as alarming as fresh red blood. There really isn't anything that could be done at this stage other than wait and see. I had brown blood at around this stage in both pregnancies, and had nothing further happen. It's nerve racking, but try not to get to focused on it. Flowers

I had some brown spotting then some bright red blood at 9 weeks or so. I really panicked. Went to the epu and it was implantation bleeding, they even showed me on the scan where the blood was. Good luck please try not to worry Smile
