Currently making a very boozy pudding with fortified wine simmering on the hob, kitchen smelling very boozy with fumes wafting around... Do I need to worry about this??! Am defo getting a good whiff! I'm 38 weeks (and kind of enjoying it as I've been dry since I found out)...

God no! No need to worry. I had a couple of glasses of wine a week later on in pregnancy. Even had a (large) glass when I was in labour (at home, shortly before leaving for hospital, just to calm my nerves you understand Wink)

Think it through - do you really think it's likely that your baby will be affected by foetal alcohol syndrome from you sniffing alcohol fumes on one occasion?

Please try to stop worrying and enjoy cooking your pud!
