So, due to have early scans at 6, 8, 10 and 12 minutes weeks due to mmcs.
I'm a little worried as the midwives will work out my pregnancy to be almost 7 weeks by Monday but a clear blue says only 2 to 3 weeks.. I'm worried that they will scan too early and not see anything!
My specialist isn't back at work until Monday.. Panicking a bit! Any advice?!

What are your dates? They will go by those initially and if they don't see anything, or it's less developed than they would expect, will scan you again in 2 weeks to see how it's progressed.

CBD are only a guesstimate of gestation, they are not diagnostically accurate. And of course they date from conception, whereas traditional dating goes from LMP, so 2-3 on a CBD is 4-5 in "normal" counting!

The tests are estimates and if they can't be sure they will call you back for another scan congratulations

I understand they will call back for another scan but after having two mmc it's quite scary to have to wait two weeks! Suppose I'm just panicking.
The first day of my last period was oct 26th.
Thank you

Hello, I had a lot of early scans too due to recurrant miscarriages. I also kept using the clear blue digital tests and could not get them to go past 2-3 so I was convinced it was all over but I'm now 17 weeks and things seem good so far. Id really recommend staying away from those tests as they can cause so much stress.

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy! I'd say try not to worry but I know that's impossible after goings through mmcs but hopefully your scan on Monday will give you some peace of mind.

I get that two weeks will feel like forever! But scanning earlier won't improve anything, and if the interval is shorter then they can't be so sure if the pregnancy is progressing as it ought to.

I was sent for an early scan (thought I was about 5 weeks). The nurse couldn't see anything so she made another appointment for a week later. Glad to say we could see a little dot on the next scan!

I know scanning earlier won't improve anything.. I didn't ask for the scans, they're set up by the hospital. I was just looking for reassurance as at the start of a pregnancy you never know how far gone you actually are!
