all my trousers are too tight. i concede Christmas played a role but its not getting any better and i can't wait to get into elasticated waistbands. With my last pg that wasn't needed till about 16 weeks. could i really be spreading so much quicker this time? For some reason i have it in my head that it's not right to be in matarnity stuff before 12 weeks (tempting fate etc) but i am feeling really uncomfortable in my clothes already. would be interested in when others started to spread.

with my second my bump was bigger ealier and i was a lot bigger i dont think i would buy special maternity cloths before 12 weeks (but then thats me didnt tell any one before then) but i would invest in some elasticated waist bands

I am 9+1 and I brought 1 pair of maternity trousers last week, not because I have a bump just that where I always wear ultra tight skinny jeans they were hurting my lower stomach when I sat down.

I was worried about buying them before 12 weeks as well but I had a scan last monday and everything was ok so I went and got them then. To be honest though they are so comfortable and you can't tell, the topshop ones are so discreet that I plan on wearing them for ever! Much more comfortable.

Was wearing maternity trousers at 10 weeks this time round Or I looped a hair bobble through the button hole and round the button of normal trousers with a long top. No point being uncomfy
