nitrofurantoin (Antibiotic) anyone?

So just been to the GP with a UTI (she didn't test, I have recurrent kidney infection history so I know when I've got a UTI) and I have these antibiotics as apparently they're the best of what you can take at this stage.
Just been for (another!) wee and noticed I have neon wee! Anyone else had this? I feel like an alien lol.

That can be normal :) I've had that antibiotic loads because I used to have a uti a couple of times a month -.- it made my wee a sort of glowing green haha! I think it's listed on the leaflet x

Haha it's almost luminous isn't it! Thanks for getting back to me. I saw that it can change to dark yellow or brown but I'm sure if I turned off the light it would be glow in the dark lol x

I was on this last week and I had the neon wee too! Its normal xx

Was prescribed it yesterday and my wee ever since looks positively radioactive.

It changed so quickly too! I was shocked lol. Hope you feel better soon nichito :)
