Another miscarriage

Hi I need help
I'm pregnant, my last period was 6w 5d ago. This is my second pg, I had a mc in July around this time too.
Last night there was brown blood when I wiped so went to EPU today where I was scanned.
She could see the yolk sac but no embryo inside. She said either it's not viable or my dates are off. I need to go back in two weeks (two days before Xmas, great ).
Has anyone been in this situation and went on to have a viable pregnancy?
She couldn't explain the bleeding and saw no sign of miscarriage at this point.

How regular and long is your cycle usually?

It's pretty long, anything between 31-35 day cycles. But it's pretty regular x

I wouldn't assume the worst just yet. Some people spot or bleed in pregnancy and brown blood can be absolutely normal. Obviously it can also indicate miscarriage however, you have every reason to hope for the best at this point. Scans this early are needed in some instances but they can cause worry as sometimes, baby is progressing a little slower, and if your dates are off it is worrying.

There's no way of knowing until your next scan unfortunately. But keep hoping, stay healthy, take your vitamins and as hard as it is keep positive. I'm really hoping for the best for you

This is probably going to sound weird. But at this point the only thing you can do is relax and enjoy the run up to Christmas. Take your vitamins and keep warm and give baby the best chance. If it's bad news then you will know you've done all you can!! Getting stressed and upset won't fix anything but it's ok to feel a little helpless now. Sending massive hugs.

I thought I was 8 weeks when I went for a scan because I was bleeding and only measured at 5 weeks. Fortnight later it was 7, fortnight later 9 and so on. Now at 20 and all is well.
