Fibromyalgia and pregnancy

Hola, has anyone been through a pregnancy with Fibro? This is my 3rd pregnancy last one 6 years ago but no fibro then and I feel so awful. Not sure how i can actually carry on as my fibro is severe and this is hell although a very much wanted pregnancy its making me doubt myself. To add to it im carrying twins. Anyone with advice or tips?

Oh and it dosent help that i found out so bloody early that the days are already dragging at 6/7 weeks or so.

Hi have fibro and have a 14 week dd. I was very lucky with the pregnancy and fibro it seemed to improve but on the odd weeks when it was bad I found itextremely difficult not having any pain relief ( was terrified of taking anything while pregnant) I coped but just resting and putting on a box set! Hope tilt eases up for you

Thanks gracalex. I think its just too much as i also have the other two 6 and 9 to look after and we dont want to tell them yet about the pregnancy as such early days. Im just exhausted in huge pain and generally hugging the loo, such fun and games. Im on morphine patches still as the pain is so intolerable and that also makes me worry about development but I would be completly laid up otherwise.

I completely understand the worry but you have to do what's best for you and your family. Fibro is such a horrible thing then with the added stress of looking after children and being pregnant it can feel overwhelming. if you need to chat anytime feel free to pm me
