And now everything has stopped. I'm so disappointed. I'm 40+5 with DC2 and it feels like baby is never going to come! I keep getting false alarms in the last week.

Come out baby!

Oh my!! I can't imagine how you must be feeling right now going past your due date! I didn't reach mine but I was getting impatient from 37 weeks lol. I have heard labour can stop and start so perhaps it will start up again later today?

Oh massive sympathies from me. I went 41+1 and 42w with mine and every day seems like an age at this point.

You will have a baby within the next ten days or so, just hold on to that and try to enjoy this last little while when it's just DC1 x

Thanks ladies. Funny thing is I'd convinced myself that I'd end up being induced next week and was focusing on that until the contractions started in the early hours. So cruel! I know he'll be here before I know it but like you say, every day feels like an eternity at the moment. Sigh.

Perhaps try going for a walk to see if it starts back up?
